Tracked down a grouping of trees that haven't shook their foliage yet. I really like Hyland Lake Park Preserve where I painted this. So many great paths and views. I ran into a bunch of people who gave me advice on spots to paint.

Hyland Lake Park Preserve in Bloomington, MN. Started at 5:30pm. This has a little shine to it. I'll get a better image once it dries.

**I updated "Lino field". The colors are much better on it now.

"Barns bluff"

Took a drive to Red Wing, MN this morning. This is Barns bluff as seen from Colvill Park. Started around 12:30 and took a little over an hour. Those little black spots in the sky are bugs. It was windy as all get out and the oil made a great fly paper. I'll pick them out when it dries.

I was going to a spot I'd had in mind and saw this view not 50 yards from where I had parked. I set up and got it down in about an hour and a half. I started at 5:30pm. Yes, it is Como Park. I am much happier with the light crossing the path here than the last painting where I waited until it was too late and the light was gone. Here I got that color note down right away.
